Welcome to the St. Mary’s University Scholarship Opportunities Homepage!

St. Mary’s awards numerous scholarships each academic year through the generosity of private donors. Scholarship award amounts vary and are often awarded based on several factors, including, but not limited to, demonstrated academic success, financial need, and donor-specific criteria.
To be considered for any of these scholarships, students must complete their scholarship applications in this system. Students must click Sign In at the top right corner of this page. This will direct them to the login screen where they can use their StMU credentials to access and complete the general scholarship application as well as any supplemental scholarship applications for scholarships that they may be recommended for.
General Application: This term refers to your scholarship application in Blackbaud Award Management (BAM). All students will need to complete a General Application in order to apply for scholarships in-system. This is not to be confused with a general application for admissions or the Common App.
The Law Conditional Application will be available for only law students to complete along with the General Application.
After you complete your General Application, you will see a personalized list of Apply-To scholarships you’re eligible for. These will appear under Recommended Opportunities. This helps ensure you only apply to scholarships that match your qualifications.
Award: The amount stated is for general information purposes and not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.
When you submit these applications, you’ll automatically be considered for a variety of donor-funded scholarships. If you’re chosen, your donor funded scholarship may replace or add to part of your existing merit Your total financial aid may stay the same or could increase depending on the award. Even if your total funding remains the same, being selected for a donor-funded scholarship is significant honor.
Deadline: The General Application and any Supplemental Applications are due by December 1, 2025.
Actions: Upon completion of the General Application and any Supplemental Applications, you will be auto matched with scholarships for which you meet the criteria. A limited number of scholarships indicate “Apply” under “Action” and require individual applications for consideration. A list of these scholarships can be found by viewing Recommended Opportunities from the Opportunities tab.
