Fr James Tobin Medical Scholarship

The intended purpose of this award is to provide financial assistance to those St. Mary’s University graduates who have gained early entry acceptance into and have committed to attend the School of Medicine of St. Louis University (SLU) as part of the Fr. James Tobin SLU Pre-Medical Scholars Program, a collaboration between St. Mary’s School of Science, Engineering and Technology and SLU’s School of Medicine.
St. Mary’s students who have gained early entry acceptance into SLU’s School of Medicine as part of the above-mentioned program may apply for the Fr. James Tobin Medical Scholars Award according to processes established by St. Mary’s University. The selection criteria are academic excellence and financial need.
Upon graduation from St. Mary’s University, financial assistance is granted to the awardee(s) upon evidence that the awardee(s) intends to matriculate to SLU’s School of Medicine for the academic year in which the awardee(s) has been accepted.
