Sarah K. Thompson Memorial Endowed Law Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarships to law students who want to attend the Innsbruck Program on International Law. The following requirements apply: 1.) The scholarship will be awarded to a student at St. Mary’s School of Law who is in good standing, and has been accepted into the Innsbruck Program. The award must be used for attendance to the Innsbruck Program. 2.) Students who wish to apply for this scholarship must submit an essay in honor of Sarah’s memory by addressing how he/she would benefit from international legal studies as well as how he/she would contribute to making the world a better place. Specific essay requirements may be obtained from Sr. Grace Walle. 3.) The candidate(s) will be selected by Sr. Grace Wall and a panel of members of the faculty who have participated in the Innsbruck Program and will review the essays submitted by interested candidates. 4.) There shall be no restrictions with regard to race, color, religion, or gender. 5.) If no student is eligible for the scholarship or no application is made, then the funds will be reinvested for distribution the following semester or year.
