Richard Harris Memorial Law Scholarship Endowment

To provide financial assistance to a full-time student(s) properly enrolled and in good standing at St. Mary’s School of Law. It shall be awarded to a second or third year law student(s) with financial need enrolled in courses that have a focus in business law, transactional law, or government law. Preference will be given to a third year law student(s). The OFA will provide the School of Law a list of students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students should submit an essay on why they should be the recipient of this scholarship. Marcia Harris (or successor) would like to be included on a School of Law committee that recommends the recipient(s) of this scholarship. This scholarship should be awarded to one student, unless the award amount is larger than a full-tuition scholarship. However, the final decision on distribution from this fund shall be made by the OFA (or successor) in consultation with the School of Law.
