The Gilbert G. Pompa Memorial Endowed Law Scholarship

To provide scholarships to deserving Texas students who meet the following criteria: 1.) Must be a full-time student. 2.) Preference will be given to female students of Hispanic descent. 3.) Students shall be interested in pursuing a career in law (regardless of major). 4.) Students must have completed 90 credit hours and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher. 5.) All majors are eligible but must be pursuing a pre-law program and/or planning to attend law school. 6.) Applicant shall provide one letter of recommendation from an educator familiar with the applicant’s academic career. 7.) Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. 8.) Applicant shall provide a resume of their community service activities. 9.) Students must maintain full-time enrollment status (12 hours if applicable) for the duration of the scholarship. 10.) The scholarship is non-renewable.
